 Welcome

Greystone is located on a ten-acre, wooded site in north Raleigh. Our family-friendly facilities include picnic tables under the pines, a baseball/soccer field, and covered breezeways. This retreat-like setting offers a spot of beauty and refreshment where children, students, and adults can find many opportunities to learn and grow in the Christian faith. While there are many ministries and activities within our walls and premises, our mission is also to share the Christian message outside our walls. For this purpose, we partner with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and other groups whose vision for mission and ministry we share. We welcome your inquiries and visits both at this website and as we worship and serve together!

 Thinking About Prayer

Why do we think we have to have a quiet place to pray?  If we are to pray continually, as Paul asks us, then we must learn to somehow allow life's noises and interruptions to be calls to prayer.  Can it be that a baby's cry, the sound of a siren passing by, the cell phone that goes off, might actually be calls to prayer?   Thanksgiving for life in the case of a baby's cry; prayers for those who work with EMS when we hear a siren; and the technology (cell phone) which can keep us in touch with loved ones and help us save so much time!   So think about it the next time you don't have enough quiet time to pray. Maybe there will be prayer in the noises and "interruptions" all around you!    DH
